1. About TrueYoke
TrueYoke ("the Platform") is a relationship education and certification platform founded by Xavier Rivera. TrueYoke provides online courses, assessments, and educational content designed to teach important principles for becoming a better lifelong partner. Our content is backed by relationship science, research, real-world experience from multiple couples, and insights from established self-help literature and testimonials.
TrueYoke operates under the motto: "Love starts with learning."
2. Educational Purpose Only
⚠ Important: TrueYoke Is Not a Substitute for Professional Help
TrueYoke is an educational platform only. TrueYoke does not provide and is not a substitute for:
- Professional therapy or counseling
- Licensed marriage and family therapy (LMFT)
- Certified or licensed psychologists or psychiatrists
- Medical or mental health treatment
- Religious institutions, pastoral counseling, or spiritual direction
- Legal advice regarding relationships, marriage, or divorce
- Crisis intervention or emergency mental health services
TrueYoke only teaches important relationship principles to help individuals become better lifelong partners. Our content is educational in nature and is backed by science, research, experience from multiple couples, and insights from self-help books and testimonials. Our courses, assessments, and matching features are not clinical tools and should not be treated as such.

4. User Accounts and Registration
By creating an account on TrueYoke, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and truthful information
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Accept responsibility for all activity under your account
- Not create multiple accounts or impersonate others
5. Subscription and Payment
- Singles Plan: $35 per year. Provides access to all course assessments, certification tiers, and partner matching features.
- Couples Plan: $50 per year for both partners. Provides access to all courses, couples assessments, shared dashboard, and weekly check-ins.
- All course videos are free to watch without payment.
- Payment is required only to access assessments and certification features.
- Subscriptions renew annually unless canceled.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time.
6. Certification and Matching
TrueYoke offers three certification tiers: Silver (7 courses), Gold (14 courses), and Platinum (20 courses). Certification is earned by completing courses and passing assessments.
The partner matching feature uses an algorithm based on certification level (40%), values alignment (40%), and shared courses (20%). TrueYoke does not guarantee compatibility, relationship success, or any specific outcome from using the matching feature. Matching is based on self-reported values and educational completion only.
7. Progressive Photo Reveal
TrueYoke uses a progressive photo reveal system:
- Silver members: Values and bio only, no photos
- Gold members: Blurred silhouette photo
- Platinum members: Verified selfie visible to other Platinum members
By uploading a selfie, you confirm it is a current, accurate photo of yourself. Misleading, inappropriate, or offensive photos will be removed.
8. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use TrueYoke for harassment, stalking, or any illegal activity
- Share inappropriate, offensive, or sexually explicit content
- Misrepresent your identity, age, or intentions
- Attempt to contact other users outside the platform in unwanted ways
- Use the platform to promote products, services, or solicitations
- Reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute TrueYoke course content
9. Content Ownership
All course content, videos, assessments, branding, and platform design are the intellectual property of TrueYoke and Xavier Rivera. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially use any TrueYoke content without written permission.
10. Privacy and Data
TrueYoke collects personal information necessary to provide our services, including name, email, profile information, and payment details. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Your matching profile is only visible to other certified TrueYoke members. Your verified selfie is only visible to other Platinum-certified members.
11. Limitation of Liability
TrueYoke provides educational content and a matching platform on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- TrueYoke is not liable for any relationship outcomes, emotional distress, or personal decisions made based on our content
- TrueYoke is not liable for interactions between users, including those facilitated by the matching feature
- TrueYoke is not responsible for the accuracy of user-provided profile information
- TrueYoke makes no guarantees regarding relationship success, compatibility, or personal growth outcomes
12. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from the use of TrueYoke shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to binding arbitration in the State of Texas.
13. Changes to Terms
TrueYoke reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
